Observit Enterprise Center, or OEC, is the main customer portal for fleet video operations, device visibility, investigations, reporting, and administration.
This guide is the new customer-facing starting point for content migrated from the legacy OEC manual.

The highest-priority OEC workflows right now are:
- signing in and getting access
- finding the correct vehicle quickly
- opening live video from a vehicle
- reviewing recorded footage through playback
- using the web player for deeper investigation
- creating reports or preparing export-oriented follow-up
- checking alarms, recording status, or health-related warnings
- contacting support when access, video, or recordings are missing
This customer-facing guide is intended for:
- operators
- customer administrators
- partner teams working in customer environments
- installer and partner roles when they use the same customer-facing OEC workflows
The legacy manual covered many different topics in one long hierarchy. In Wiki.js, the content should be grouped around user tasks instead.
- Overview and access
- Customer administration
- Vehicle search and status
- Live operations
- Playback and review
- Reports and investigations
- Support and common questions
The legacy Manula manual included these main OEC areas:
- Overview
- Enterprise Center
- Applications and services
- Setup and installation
- How to
- Support
Not all legacy sections should remain customer-facing. Installation, provisioning, and service operations should move into internal documentation unless the customer, partner, or installer performs those tasks directly.
The recommended migration order for customer pages is:
- Getting started and access
- Vehicle search, live view, and playback workflows
- Web player and investigation workflows
- Reports and exports
- Customer administration
- Status and troubleshooting
- Support workflows
